Inventory Valuation

Cost & Reports - home - inventory report

The Inventory valuation dialog gives merchants a fast full-catalog stock value summary directly inside WooCommerce. Instead of manually adding totals across paginated Home table pages, users can open one dialog to review purchase price totals, cost of goods totals, retail value totals, and total items in stock. The feature also supports printing, CSV export, caching for performance, and background refresh for larger catalogs.

Feature:

  • Calculate full-store inventory totals from one dialog
  • Review purchase price, cost of goods, retail value, and stock quantity
  • Match retail valuation to regular price ex. VAT
  • Print or export the summary for accounting and management use
  • Use cached totals for speed with background refresh support on larger catalogs

The Inventory valuation dialog gives merchants a fast way to calculate store-wide inventory totals without relying on the current paginated Home table footer.

It is designed for users who need a practical stock value snapshot for:

  • accounting
  • internal reporting
  • tax preparation
  • owner and manager review
