Campaign Engine lets you increase or decrease WooCommerce product prices immediately or at a scheduled time. Changes are processed in background batches and can be rolled back from Recent Jobs.
Create a price change job
Go to WooCommerce → Marketing → Campaign Engine → Schedule.
Select Price Change under Job type.
Choose the price calculation
Under Change type, select:
- Percent to calculate the change as a percentage.
- Fixed amount to add or subtract a specific amount in the store currency.
Then select the direction:
- Decrease lowers the selected prices.
- Increase raises the selected prices.
Enter the value in the Amount field.
Examples:
- Percent + Decrease + 20 reduces the selected prices by 20%.
- Percent + Increase + 10 increases the selected prices by 10%.
- Fixed amount + Decrease + 5 subtracts 5 from each selected price.
- Fixed amount + Increase + 5 adds 5 to each selected price.
Campaign Engine uses the number of decimal places configured in WooCommerce. Calculated prices cannot be lower than zero.
Choose which prices to change
Select one or both price fields:
- Regular changes the regular product price.
- Sale changes an existing sale price.
- Select both to change both price fields.
Products without an existing sale price have no sale price to adjust. Selecting Sale does not automatically create a new sale price. Use a Sale Campaign when you want to create a new temporary sale.
Include product variations
Enable Include variations when variable product prices should also be changed.
Campaign Engine processes the individual variations and synchronizes the parent variable product afterward. This keeps displayed minimum and maximum prices updated.
Choose the campaign scope
Select All products to apply the change across the catalog.
Select Filtered to target a specific selection using:
- Included categories
- Excluded categories
- Included product IDs
- Excluded product IDs
- Product search by name, SKU, or ID
Selected categories include their child categories.
Explicit exclusions are removed from the final product selection. The matched product list is recorded when the job is created, so the job scope does not change unexpectedly while processing.
If Filtered is selected without any filters, Campaign Engine warns that the job will target all products.
Choose when to run the job
Use When to run to select a future date and time.
Leave the field empty to start the job immediately.
The displayed timezone is taken from the WordPress site settings.
Configure the batch size
Batch size controls how many products are processed during each background task.
The default value is suitable for most stores. A lower value can help when the hosting provider limits long-running or resource-intensive processes.
Add a job label
Enter an optional label that makes the job easier to identify in Scheduled Jobs and Recent Jobs.
Click Suggest to generate a label based on the selected price rule, amount, schedule, and product scope.
Run the Campaign Readiness Check
Before scheduling, click Run readiness check.
The check is read-only and does not modify product data. It shows:
- Number of matched products and variations
- Current price range
- Estimated resulting price range
- Products with missing regular prices
- Products with missing images
- Products already on sale
- Out-of-stock products
- Prices that may become zero
- Products that could not be loaded
Review the results and adjust the campaign if needed.
Schedule the job
Click Schedule job when the configuration is ready.
Campaign Engine opens Scheduled Jobs, where you can confirm the scheduled time, scope, status, and targeting.
Once processing begins, progress is available in Recent Jobs.
Roll back a price change
Campaign Engine stores the original regular and sale prices before changing them.
To restore the saved prices:
- Open Recent Jobs.
- Find the completed job.
- Click the Rollback icon.
- Confirm the action.
- Follow the rollback progress.
Rollback restores the values saved when that specific job started.
