What is batch picking in Pick List?

Batch picking is designed to speed up your warehouse workflow by allowing you to pick items for multiple orders in a single round.

Instead of picking one order at a time, you collect all required products for several orders at once, and then pass them to the packing team for order completion.

Batch picking focuses on efficient product collection, not order fulfillment.

How it works

  1. Create a batch of orders
  2. Pick all required items in one run (using barcode scanning or manual controls)
  3. Hand over the items to the packing team
  4. Complete the orders in the Pick Order tab

In the Batch Pick Orders tab you will find:

Continue Active Batch

Select and open an existing batch to continue picking.

History

View completed batches — useful for packing teams and tracking.

  • Click a batch to open it in read-only mode
  • Print option is available

Filters

Filter orders by:

  • Status
  • Date range
  • Shipping method
  • Search

Order Table

  • Orders are sorted by urgency (oldest first)
  • Most columns support sorting

How to create a batch:

Pick List - create batch
    1. Filter the orders you want to include
    2. Select the relevant orders
    3. Click “Create batch from selected orders”

    That’s it — the batch is created and opened automatically, ready for picking.
