What is batch picking?
A batch is a collection of orders grouped together so that all required items can be picked in a single run.
Instead of picking orders one by one, warehouse staff collect all items for multiple orders at once, bring them to the packing area, and then complete the orders in the Pick Order tab.
This reduces the number of trips in the warehouse and improves overall picking efficiency.
👉 Batch picking is for collecting items, not fulfilling orders.
How to use the Batch page
After selecting a batch, you will see:
Batch overview
At the top of the page:
- Batch status
- Created by
- Assigned picker
- Orders included in the batch
A progress bar shows how much of the batch has been picked, making it easy to track progress.
Barcode scanning
You will see an input field designed for barcode scanners.
- Scan a product barcode to automatically update the picked quantity
- The system validates the scan and updates the correct row
- When a product is fully picked (e.g. 3/3), the row is automatically hidden
Manual picking
Each row includes action buttons:
- +1 → Increase picked quantity
- -1 → Decrease picked quantity
- Mark all → Mark the entire row as picked
These are useful for manual picking or corrections.
Batch actions
Below the table you will find:
Print Batch

You can print it or save it as a PDF.
Clear Batch

Use this if:
- the batch was created by mistake
- you want to recreate it with different orders
